The 2021 edition of Leon’s Triathlon will be an experience unlike any other. Race day coincides with the 77th Anniversary of the Allied invasion of Normandy. Fittingly, we are honored to host the inaugural USA Triathlon Military and First Responders National Championships.

Event weekend will include a military-focused competition, special guests, fallen-hero tributes and a moving pre-race ceremony honoring active duty, retired, and veteran military personnel.

We are also honored to host a special ceremony for the newly named Gold Star Memorial Highway. The Gold Star Memorial is a tribute to Gold Star Families whose loved one paid the ultimate price defending the United States of America.

A small, short distance homecoming race for America’s First Responders. This triathlon is held in the birthplace of Leon’s triathlon in 1983, humbly honoring our law enforcement. The start and finish line will be located at the police academy honoring America’s First Responders.

Run American’s Race on September 11th at National Park’s West Beach. This event is part of a national recognition of the 20^th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and honors our military veterans and first responders.
