At Leon’s Triathlon and Obstacle Course Race, one thing has never changed.

For more than 40 years, that commitment has driven everything we do.
As we prepare to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of America and the 25th anniversary of September 11, our goal is not simply to host another race. Our goal is to create an experience that inspires gratitude, honors those who have served our country, and reminds us all of the values that have made America strong.
From the opening ceremony to the finish line, we are continually working to elevate every part of race weekend.
None of that would be possible without the incredible people and organizations who stand beside us.
Each year, our partners generously donate their time, talents, equipment, and expertise to help bring America’s Race to life. Their commitment allows us to create an atmosphere unlike any other, one that reflects the patriotism, unity, and community spirit that define Leon’s Triathlon.
This year, we are especially excited about a new addition we hope to unveil as part of the finish line experience. While we’re keeping the details under wraps for now, if everything comes together, it will be something you won’t want to miss.
Combined with the massive field of American flags, our towering finish line flag, and patriotic displays throughout the venue, it promises to create an unforgettable experience in every direction you look.
We believe the setting is just as important as the race itself.
When athletes, families, veterans, first responders, volunteers, and spectators arrive, we want them to feel something greater than competition. We want them to experience a sense of gratitude. A sense of unity. A reminder of the sacrifices that have preserved our freedom for the past 250 years.
Whether you’re joining us for the triathlon near the anniversary of D-Day or the Obstacle Course Race honoring the heroes of September 11, every detail is thoughtfully designed to tell a story.
